Our goal is to train 1 in 10 people in Mental Health First Aid skills

An effective strategy

MHFA England and Mainly Mental Health operate a thorough, well researched and tested strategy which has three key areas:

1. Sensitise

We lay the groundwork by talking about mental health openly and constructively, providing information and resources to help address the issues and begin to build awareness.

“A healthy workplace is one where employees and managers work together to protect and promote their health, safety and wellbeing and the sustainability of the business” (World Health Organisation)

2. Skills

Through the delivery of quality training we empower people to support each other. We are able to tailor our offering to match your organisation’s needs, and we provide ample resources to help you to spread the support throughout your workplace.

3. Sustainability

We provide the means to build upon the results initially achieved and to make this approach a natural part of your organisation’s way of working. Regular review, peer support networks and mentoring schemes help keep these vital issues high on the agenda and ensure that the benefits continue to accrue in the future.
